BHCDO plants more seeds

Having completed a fenced area using pallets, the BHDCO team has now embarked on the planting of agriculture produce with the hope that in a few short months the harvest will be made available to members of the community as a fund-raising effort.

The team has already created a number of banks and have already plant5ed okra, sweet potato vine, papaya, tomatoes and cassava.

By Saturday other crops, including egg plants, corn, watermelons and cantaloupe will be established.

Meanwhile, another area has been dedicated to banana plants

Bridgette Lawrence and Edgin Stay who work as chief cultivators share the view that it makes no sense cleaning such a large area and not utilize it effectively.
