A very special visitor and friend of the project

Engineer Cynthia Laviscount has been the  most recent visitor and friend to stop in to offer advise to the Barnes Hill Community Development Organization (BHCDO) as it continues with its programme to restore the community reservoir and create a community tourism centre around it.

According to Laviscount who was on location Tuesday  16 Feb., 2016,  the water holding facility appears to be in very good condition and should be able to serve the residents of Barnes Hill and its environs for many years to come.

She has also advised that some special light-weight material be used when the re-roofing of the holding tank is being constructed and that treatments related to the extermination of termites be applied.

Laviscount also expressed a willingness to prepare estimates for the areas related to the reservoir restoration and visit from time to time to ensure the project is going well from an engineering perspective
